Holiday Bazaar

On Saturday I participated in a local Holiday Bazaar with my friend Gloria (seen here), and I was just AMAZED at the amount of stuff I've made recently, been a little toooooo prolific! I did well at this show, now on to trying to unload the rest of it, check me out at my Etsy store : mynaptimedesigns.etsy.com.... Maybe now I'll focus on more projects for the family instead!

Zipper Necklace

I was shopping last weekend and found a cool zipper bib necklace, and thought, I can make that! So I did!! Here's my cool version, and I love it!!!

YAY It's DONE!!! Mama's got a brand new bag!!!!

After over 6 months of work, thousands of soda pop tabs, miles of leather cord and fishing wire, sore fingers, and lots of cussin', I'm finally done with my purse!!!!! Here's my inspiration : http://www.ecoist.com/pc/viewcategories.asp?idCategory=41&pageStyle=H. If I'd known how to crochet it all together, it probably woulda been much easier!! Now I have the only one like this out there, because I will NEVER make one like this again!!!!

Knitted Wire Bracelets

These have been my latest victory, using both my knitting "skills" and my love of jewelry to marry the two together! While the wire is a bit hard on the hands, this is so simple I can't believe I never figured it out before... Here's 2 outta 6 bracelets using pearls and other funky beads....

Happy Crafty Halloween!!

This year I made parts of everyone's costumes, we have the Skeleton Ballerina, the Beer Fairy, and the Octopus... The octopus was from this year's Halloween issue of Family Fun, and the tutus were my first ones!

More Sweater Boots...

Can you tell when I get obsessed with something?? Now I made some navy blue boots, and these fit entirely different, the sweater material is looser.... It's amazing how different a project can come out. I need brown next!!!

Sweater Boots

I love this project!!! Just go to the thrift store (or grab an old pair of pumps), and a sweater with long decorative arms, and glue together with E6000 glue, and voila!!!!
