1st try Chain Scarf- Failed...

I've loved this idea that I found on Knitty.com of a chain link scarf, but I'm not good enough yet to knit it, so I made i-cords on my Knifty Knitter and tied them together, then felted it all in the washing machine... Wow! It really felts down, now it's way to short to really use as a scarf... That was all I had of that yarn, so guess now I know what to do next time with a whole lot more yarn and links!

Hokie Hat from Handspun Yarn

I've really been amazed at how easy it is to spin my own yarn!! Mine is nowhere near professional or even very strong (probably), but this was a fun project! This will be for my mom for christmas (shhhhhh!)... Go Hokies!

Hokie Handspun Yarn

Since my brother went to Virginia Tech, my family are of course true "hokies", so I'm spinning up some yarn from hokie colored roving to make some hats... Wish I knew how much yarn a hat would need, since I'm not measuring my yardage as I go....

Green Lap Blanket- In Progress

Since my show the other week, I've been trying my hardest not to just keep making more "stuff", and promising myself to just create for ME for a while... So, here's a lap blanket that I'm working on, had to start over 5 times! Started out trying to do Tunisian Crochet, but the stitch was too tight and I wanted this yarn to go farther than that because I only have 8 balls at the moment. So, we are back to my old stand-by, the garter stitch, with this awesome yarn from Gedifra called "super-gigante" in a gorgeous green!!!
