Mirrored Mosaic Star

One of the perks of working at a local glass store is that I have access to cool scrap glass, like the antiqued mirror that I used to mosaic this tin star from my OTHER job...!  This was a fun project using a $3 star and scrap glass!

Progress on Mosaic Window

I've been playing catch-up with this project, and because it's all "freehand", I'm not sure how happy I am with it so far... I like the concept, but guess I have to get farther along to see the big picture. Wish me luck figuring it out!

Stained Glass Mosaic Frame

I'm still working on my labyrinth rug, but now I've started another HUGE project! I started a class through Henrico County, and we're making stained glass mosaic window frames. After class 3 of 6, this is only as far as I've gotten, so now I've get lotsa homework to do to catch up. Basically, we are gluing cut pieces of glass to an old frame, then we'll grout it all... It's hard to see my peacock feathers yet, so stay tuned for more progress!!!

Soda Can Mosaic mirror- Just starting!!

This is a project I've had in mind for months, after seeing a photo on Flickr of Dogfaceboy's "Can You?" mirror. I've had all my friends save me cans for months and just started cutting the cans, then into cool squares using the best graphics. This will be a long project, gotta get my hubby to make the frames next, but I'll keep you posted with my progress!!!

Mosaic Mailbox

Now you can see that maybe I'm a bit too crafty? (is that possible?), I'm probably the only one out there with a mosaic tile mailbox!! It was easy, just spread down mastic on a new white mailbox, arrange tiles, grout with white grout, then spray with an outdoor protector... Another way to use my leftover tiles!!
