Stuffed Animal Zoo

This is another great idea from Family Fun Magazine, and it's another easy one! Just drill screws into elastic strips on your bookcase to turn it into a stuffed animal zoo/jail! My kids LOVE this, and love cleaning up now!

So Simple Pussy Willow Tutorial

I found this idea in a magazine a few years back, and it killed two birds with one stone- it made me clean the yard, and it gave me a fun recycling project for my fall flower display!!

1. Cut the tips diagonally off of a bunch of Q-tips.

2. Using a brown marker, color the stem brown.

3. Use tacky glue to attach to your sticks

4. Enjoy!!

More Soda Can Frames

Now that I've started playing with ALL the cans I've collected, I can't stop!!! Here's 2 frames that I just finished, and more are to come! This is such an easy and cool project...

Soda Can Mirrors-Finally finished 2!!!!

I'm so happy with how these turned out!! As you may recall, I've been working on these for MONTHS!!! Mine turned out a bit different than my inspiration's :( http://www.flickr.com/photos/dogfaceboy/3716158/), but still looks great! Now I'm off to try frames next!

Loom Knitting- Leg Warmers

I love the loom knitting assortment kit I got for 40% off at JoAnn's.... I taught myself yesterday to knit this way, and I'm loving how simple and quick it was to knit these leg warmers for my daughter! SOOOO much easier than using needles, maybe I'll try the socks next, since I will never attempt them with 3 needles!!!

Cigar Box Purses

Here's another easy fun project... Just go to your local cigar shop or Total Wine, and they will give (or sell) you empty cigar boxes for cheap! Just glue a fabric liner inside (velvet, suede, etc), and drill 2 holes for a handle, (you can find premade ones, or make your own with wire and fun beads). They make great gifts!

Still Working on Pop Tab Purse....

I'm still working slowly but surely on my pop tab purse, I've got about 4 more rows here, need about 4 more to go!! Each row takes almost an hour, so this is slow work, but I'm excited that I'm getting closer to the end, because Mama needs a brand new bag!!!!!!
